You are responsible for all collection costs including reasonable attorney's fees if collection action becomes necessary.

5. Access and Security

You are responsible for your own lock and the security of your unit. Cortez Self Storage provides facility-level security (gated access, camera monitoring) but does not guarantee the security of individual units or their contents. You should maintain appropriate insurance for stored items. We are not liable for theft, damage, or loss of items stored at the facility except to the extent caused by our own negligence.

6. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cortez Self Storage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goods, arising out of or related to your use of our services or facility. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the total rent paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cortez Self Storage, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
